I Highly recommend Couto Construction from sales, administration and on-site construction and cleanup. I called them on a summer Saturday afternoon and a person picked up the phone and answered all my questions. Joe Raposo, Sales, timely came to my house and with his drone inspected my roof. He explained what needed to be done to solve my problems. Joe explained in detail the type of shingle, ice and water material and the intricacies of installation. Andy Millen, Project Supervisor, called me early on construction day, introducing himself, described the process and the time his team would begin work. I loaded their Group Me app and Andy emailed me pictures throughout the day highlighting the removal of my old shingles, the condition of plywood, areas around my chimney that I had questions on and their stages of ice and water and six nail new shingle installation. His team take pride in their work, answered my questions and are truly hard working dedicated thorough professionals. Andy actually emailed me after 8pm with follow up information. I am very pleased with their work and the entire Couto organization.
I hired Couto to replace my leaky roof and they did a fantastic job. First, they sent two gentlemen to access and discuss the project. Charles went up the roof and took photos and videos of how my roof looked which I really liked because I was able to see and understand what was going on up there.
I hired this company to put a new roof on my house and gutters as well I would recommend them other than having a huge language barrier with their workers because they could not understand me or my family and I could not understand them at all I really didn't have any complaints other than they do advertise that there would be a couto brother on site at all times I never met one not a single time never spoke to them however I did speak and see jose,who is 100%,a man of his word , he answered all of our questions and fixed any problems that we had with the roof.
I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful and professional job on my home, I had the pleasure of working with Cesar Botelho, he was the best. I, unfortunately, had to be out of town before the project started, and he contacted me early in the morning to reassure me that he and his crew would take care of everything and they definitely did. Cesar sent me videos and pics throughout the day explaining different phases of the project, I got home around 4:30, and could not believe what a difference the new roof made to my home, the guys had cleaned up everything and were gone. I am so grateful to Couto Construction for this whole process. You have really impressed me and my neighbors!!! I will definitely recommend your company, and especially Cesar to anyone needing home improvement.
I like to update my review I have talked to the owner Jason any as been in contact with me is a real gentleman even though we miss phone calls between each party because of our work and being busy he stole took the time and got ahold of me He is trying to get me finance and his knowledge ment of our roof, Was very upfront and I like to thank him And hoping that we can work on this project and get a new roof on my house Again I like to say thank you to Jason for understanding my situation it was greatly appreciated
I live the the home of my dreams and retired. Getting quality work done on my house at a good price is of the utmost importance to me. Couto Construction and the roofing team led by Cesar replaced our roof and did an excellent job and knocked it out of the ball park. I love the team we had Carlos, Mark, Andrew, and Luis. Great service we had windows and our roof done highly recommended. Everything was perfect to size, I've seen a lot of one star reviews yet nothing seems to be true they are very communicative and always tell us when they were coming the next day they put everything back and even replaced some things for us for no extra charge.
I never thought I would give a 5 star review to a contractor, but Couto really did an amazing job. We moved into an old house in New Bedford that needed a lot of work gutters, side roofs, cedar siding, and paint and they did everything ahead of schedule and at a really good rate. They should be at the top of the list of places you call when looking to get work done on your house.
