We hired Couto Construction to do the entire exterior of our house, garage and large shed. They also replaced a skylight and removed a chimney that was no longer needed. They were professional and the workers and crew were wonderful to deal with. Whenever we had a question or concern we would simply text the project manager and he would arrive and address the problem or concern and it was taken care of. We hired them to get our roof redone because we've had some major leaks inside, I mentioned that a big factor was the chimney was in poor shape. The site manager Cesar Botelho came the day before to fix the masonry work on the chimney because it needed to dry, but while he was here he talked about what to execpt with the process and how the products used ad well as the personal were all top notch. It really set my worries at ease.
We recently contacted Couto's Construction for a roof replacement. Mr. Anthony inspected the roof and explained in detail the issues we were having. After, Mr. Corey gave a great presentation of a variety of products that we could choose.
We recently hired Couto Construction to replace 15 windows and 2 doors. They used ProVia, a USA company in Ohio that manufactures top-quality products. We are very pleased with our new windows and doors. The old drafty ones are gone, replaced by beautiful ProVia windows and doors that are so easy to clean and operate. Brendan, Josimar, and Marcelo did a great installation job. They are expert installers and kept everything clean at the end of each day. Brendan is also an excellent project foreman, he explained what would happen each day and made sure that we were happy throughout the process.
We recently hired Coutu Construction to replace our roof and skylight. From the very beginning, they were professional and accommodating in every way. Cesar Botelho, project supervisor was very attentive to every detail of the job. His roof foremen, Rolando and Luis were hard working and talented craftsmen. We recently re-sided part of our home. For financial reasons, we need to do the project in two stages. We found James in sales very helpful and responsive. He helped us figure out what we could do within our budget and patiently answered our many questions. The work was finished in late November. I'm an at-home-Mom and had opportunity to watch their work. I found the crew approached their work with pride and were good craftsmen. Carlos, our construction manager ironed out a few minor mis-communications, and made the final adjustments himself. Overall, I am very pleased we contracted with Couto and we look forward to finishing our project with them soon.
We sought 4 quotes as we were new to RI so had no word of mouth recommendations to rely upon. Without a doubt Couto stood out from the outset, Joe was very thorough but not "high-pressure" like some of of the others & what stood out most was his offering to climb up to the attic to inspect the status of the plywood (this was a particular concern of ours since plywood replacement can be an unknown expense until the day of installation and significantly increase the cost)...but Joe went out of his way to inspect the plywood and ease our anxiety!
