Couto Construction was our second quote. After their inspection and sales presentation, and it is a presentation (videos taken from our own roof during the inspection, slideshow presentation on an ipad, the whole 9 yards), we decided to go with them. Installation for our new roof shingles and related materials, plus two replaced skylights, was set for about three weeks from then. We got installation only a week and a half later though, because there was an opening. Our project manager was Cesar. He was on top of everything, had a great crew working under him, and they got it done in one day. They changed the pitch of one of our gutters for no extra charge. He texted pictures to me of the progress during the day because we weren't home. There wasn't any mess left behind either. Their quote was higher than our first quote, but I believe we made the right decision because the quality of work and service has been top-notch so far.
Couto construction was quick, efficient and cleaned up immediately. I have a 64' long ranch but they stripped and replaced my roof, including the chimney and pipe flashing and boots. The project supervisor Cesar checked on everything, was easy to reach and did a full walk through inspection after completion before final payment. 99% of the work was done in one day and they removed the dumpster the next morning. After they were done I have not found one nail. I would recommend their services based on my own experience.
Couto Construction was responsive and professional from start to finish. After a very bad experience with another contractor, Couto was a breath of fresh air! They responded quickly, came through on every promise on schedule, and the carpenters, Kevin Almeida & "Brazil", were outstanding.: friendly, professional, responsive, polite, and skilled. Couto Construction was top notch from the beginning. The estimate was competitive, they were able to begin work quickly, everyone was punctual, and they were extremely responsive whether it was by phone, email, or app. I did not feel like anyone was trying to up sell me and they took the time to understand what I needed.

In today's crazy construction market (early 2021) with many other projects, they made me feel like their most important customer the entire time.
Couto just finished wrapping my fascia boards and installing new gutters and downpouts, and I am totally satisfied with them. I would definitely recommend them.
